Playing Sudoku and browser storage
You can play without creating an account or signing in to Google. The game runs in your browser. We use browser storage to remember preferences such as language and theme, save puzzle progress and playing statistics, and support installed or cached versions of the website. Saved game data is stored on your device; analytics events described below are sent separately.
We also store a randomly generated browser identifier, experiment assignments and visit information to compare interface changes and understand repeat visits. These identifiers identify a browser, rather than verifying a person's identity.
Analytics and advertising measurement
We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use Sudoked.com and to improve the game. Information may include pages visited, referral and advertising campaign information, browser and device information, approximate location, visit timing, and interactions such as starting or completing games, using hints, returning to the site, or using install and share actions. Cookies and browser identifiers help measure visits and engagement.
We advertise Sudoked.com through Google Ads and use advertising and conversion reports to evaluate campaign performance. Advertising links may contain campaign or click identifiers. The website's Google Analytics configuration disables Google Signals and advertising personalization signals. An ad-free game still uses analytics to measure usage and advertising effectiveness.

Messages and feedback
If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide. The website's feedback form uses FormSubmit to deliver your message and selected category to our email inbox. Your email address is optional in that form and is used to reply if you provide it. Please avoid sending passwords, authorization codes or other sensitive information in feedback.
Google account data and sudoked-ads
sudoked-ads is a management tool used by the operator to review and manage advertising for Sudoked.com. It is separate from the Sudoku game. Website visitors do not need to connect a Google account or grant Google Ads access to play.
When an authorized account owner connects the tool, it requests the Google Ads permission shown on Google's consent screen. That permission can allow both reading and managing advertising accounts. The reporting helper reads data; changes to campaigns require the operator's explicit approval.
- Data accessed: accessible advertising account identifiers, campaign settings and budgets, ads and keywords, reported search terms, and performance information such as impressions, clicks, costs and conversions.
- Purpose: producing reports, understanding advertising performance and carrying out advertising changes authorized by the operator.
- Storage: authorization tokens are stored on the operator's server outside the public website and source repository. Downloaded reports and analysis files may be retained on the operator's systems for campaign review.
- Access and sharing: Google Ads data may be processed by tools and service providers the operator uses to prepare reports or perform authorized management tasks, including AI-assisted analysis. It is not made public as part of the game, sold, or used to build advertising profiles of individual players.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements where applicable.
The account owner can revoke authorization at any time through Google Account connections. Revocation stops future API access but does not automatically remove previously saved reports. Contact us to request deletion of stored authorization data or reports.
Service providers and security
Website hosting and delivery providers receive technical information needed to serve requests, such as IP addresses, requested URLs and browser information, and may keep operational or security logs. Google and FormSubmit receive information as described above. Providers may process information in countries other than your own.
We use access controls and restricted credential files to protect administrative access. No method of internet transmission or storage is completely secure. Information may also be disclosed when necessary to comply with law or protect the website and its users.
Retention and your choices
Browser data remains until it is cleared, replaced by the application, or removed by your browser. You can remove it using your browser's site-data controls; doing so also removes locally saved progress and preferences. Analytics, hosting logs and feedback are retained according to service settings and operational needs. Administrative reports are kept while needed for advertising review, record keeping or legal obligations. You can contact us about a deletion request.
You can control cookies in your browser and use Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on where supported. Clearing site data does not delete information already processed by Google. Google account owners can separately revoke sudoked-ads access using the link above.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to processing, or complain to a privacy authority. Send requests to mnemonemo3@gmail.com. We may need enough information to locate the relevant records; we cannot necessarily identify a browser's analytics records from an email address alone.
